We have just released  a new number and video to go with it.

The title is Futurama and it'll be on the new album Voranzherei when it's released in the next few weeks.

BBoP Supports Animal Welfare

Welcome back BBoP'rs,

We wanted to let everyone know that starting immediately BBoP will be actively supporting animal welfare. We will be donating 10% of all sales directly to Animal Charities of America.


After much research we feel that this will be the best use of the funds since they are a non profit organization who distributes donations to their member charities. They also are registered with the IRS and have an A+ rating.

Times are certainly hard for a good many people but they are also hard for animals, many of which end up getting neglected or abandoned when funds are low.

Please visit ACA to find out more and help out if you can. BBoP is offering signed cd's and fan funding for our current and future projects. 50% of all fan funding will be directly donated to ACA and 10% of all music and cd sales will also be given to ACA.

New Music Released

We just uploaded "Along For the Ride". We're still putting the finishing touches on some of the tracks which will appear on Voranzherei, once thats done, the album will be "officially" released.

Remember, you can pre-order Voranzherei at Bandcamp. It'll be available on all of the other usual outlets (Amazon, iTunes, etc) once released.

New Music Coming Up

Greetings friends of BBoP,

summer is upon us and our spirits are uplifted. The winters in the Northwest are dreary and long to say the least and the warm sunny days will help with the many projects, started and unstarted, some of which we hope to complete this summer. The 2 main projects are of course the official release of the new cd "Voranzherei" and further videos to accompany music from both cd's.

We have several tracks which we would especially like to see have a video accompanying them. At this time we most likely will be working on a video for "Guitar Peace" next. It seems from all of the comments we've received, it's one of the favorites of many of you.

Michael has also recently added a Fender Telecaster to his ever growing collection of musical instruments. The Telecaster has a sound distinctly different from the Stratocaster and several of the new numbers due out soon have already been recorded using it.

That's all for now. There is much more planned, more than there is time to do. Stay tuned and please get on our mailing list.

Upcoming Music Release

It's been awhile since our last post. We've been finishing up some new numbers and starting work on others. We are very excited about some of the new material which will be released soon.

We're putting the finishing touches on "It's Always Been This Way" which we hope to have ready for release in the next few days. An upbeat sunshine kind of number which should help you get through the gray cloudy days we've been having around here.

Many things are planned, some will be, others will never be, this one is.

BBoP is now on ReverbNation

Greetings BBoP'rs, We took the plunge into blatant shameless marketing of Big Box of Paints. We joined ReverbNation. So far it looks very interesting, many nice features but the best part is, we're getting quite a bit more exposure and we're discovering many very good independent artists as well. There's a lot of good music out there and being an indie artist is the way to make it.

Pre-orders for "Voranzherei"

Welcome back BBoP'rs,

Our next album will be titled "Voranzherei" and is still in the works. However a lot of the numbers are just about there. The album can be pre-ordered from Bandcamp (only), check it out!

When you pre-order, any tracks which we already have posted to Bandcamp will be made available for immediate download. Then when the album is officially released, you'll get an email from Bandcamp letting you know it's ready for you to download in its entirety. Cool huh?

New Instrument Additions

Welcome back BBoP'ers, one thing BBoP loves to do is experiment with new sounds. In our never ending effort to move forward musically, we are adding a classic to our already closet full of instruments.

Many of you might be familiar with the highly respected Vox Continental organ. You've heard it on such classics as the Doors "Light My Fire" and Iron Butterfly's "In-a-gadda-da-vida". That's right, the mighty Vox Continental!

Back In The Studio

26 December - back at TechnoPrisoners Studio working on new material. It was a very productive session with new musical ideas abounding.
